– The racist violence on display in Charlottesville struck an alarming wake-up call about the rise of white supremacy, anti-Semitism, and pro-fascism have during the Trump presidency. As these flash points continue to occur and tip into the news cycle, Jamey Tracy and Hilary Moore will be able to address them from the standpoint of the history of radical groups’ efforts to confront similar outbreaks when white supremacists felt they had a friend in the White House. – Will be of great interest to those who support the Black Lives Matter movement. – No Fascist USA! will tap similar markets as those drawn to books like Tyranny in general, and Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook in particular. – This book is written primarily for people whose awareness of anti-racism and anti-fascism began in response to the more recent rise of the alt-right, and is an opportunity to explore ideas, strategies, and politics of anti-fascism by rewinding the conversation to the Reagan Years–where the contemporary alt-right has its roots. – The book's latter chapters focus on lessons for today's activists. – This book shows how the debates around how to best confront the extreme right have deep roots in the last century. In a sense it is a prequel to the stories we listen to today about today’s organized racists and their opponents. – Will include interviews with surviving members of the John Brown Anti-Klan Committee, a few former members wil endorse this book. – Will include facsimiles and images of DIY-era posters and pamphlets used during the movement. Against the Fascist Creep
Автор: Alexander Reid Ross
Год издания:
What this book has going for it is 1) deeply creepy tales of how fascists secretly operate, 2) a cloak-and-dagger investigation into current fascist inroads into political movements and 3) a solid theoretical and historical background. One of the underreported aspects of the Dylan Roof story in Charleston, SC, was the many connections that local and state politicians had to some of the reactionary groups that inspired Roof’s crime.Against the Fascist Creep follows those threads. It takes the reader on a haunted tour from Moscow to Barcelona, Charleston to Portland, in a sweeping look at the fascist vanguard, its history, and its influence on mainstream society. Ross helps us decipher the codes of neo-fascist groups lurking on the fringes of radical movements, providing a sort of cryptography that interprets deranged and complex workings of esoteric neo-Nazi sects, with names like “national anarchists,” Third Positionists, and National Bolsheviks.
La construccion del enano fascista
Автор: Daniel Feierstein
Год издания:

Stepan Bandera: The Life and Afterlife of a Ukrainian Fascist
Автор: Grzegorz Rossolinski-Liebe
Год издания:
"The Life and Afterlife of a Ukrainian Nationalist" is the first comprehensive and scholarly biography of the Ukrainian far-right leader Stepan Bandera and the first in-depth study of his political cult. In this fascinating book, Grzegorz Rossolinski-Liebe illuminates the life of a mythologized personality and scrutinizes the history of the most violent twentieth-century Ukrainian nationalist movement: the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and its Ukrainian Insurgent Army.
Elucidating the circumstances in which Bandera and his movement emerged and functioned, Rossolinski-Liebe explains how fascism and racism impacted on Ukrainian revolutionary and genocidal nationalism. The book shows why Bandera and his followers failed—despite their ideological similarity to the Croatian Ustasa and the Slovak Hlinka Party—to establish a collaborationist state under the auspices of Nazi Germany and examines the involvement of the Ukrainian nationalists in the Holocaust and other atrocities during and after the Second World War. The author brings to light some of the darkest elements of modern Ukrainian history and demonstrates its complexity, paying special attention to the Soviet terror in Ukraine and the entanglement between Ukrainian, Jewish, Polish, Russian, German, and Soviet history. The monograph also charts the creation and growth of the Bandera cult before the Second World War, its vivid revivals during the Cold War among the Ukrainian diaspora, and in Bandera's native eastern Galicia after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
